Apple users now have three new payment methods for app store related payments in India. Until now, users had to use their credit or debit card details to purchase app subscriptions and make payments to Apple. But now Apple users can make payments with their UPI account, Rupees and Net Banking. You can add your UPI account details for monthly iCloud subscriptions and automatic updates of paid apps and buy new apps with your wallet or get paid features in one app.
Apple has announced the addition of three new payment methods for many Apple iPhone users in India. “New ways to pay for the content you want. You can now pay in the App Store with UPI, Rupee Cards and Net Banking.” You need to upgrade to the latest version of iPod or MacOS.
Here’s how to add a new payment method to your iPhone or iPod
- Go to the Settings menu on your iPhone or iPod
- Tap the Apple ID at the top of the screen
Select the Payment and Shipping option and enter your Apple ID credentials, as Apple will ask you to sign in.
- To add a new payment method, tap Add Payment
- Apple will guide you to add your UPI or Rupee details, follow the instructions and fill in the details.
You can also delete the current payment method by tapping the Edit option. You can add multiple payment methods to your Apple ID.

Go to the App Store and enter your Apple ID and Password using the Login button.
Go to Info and tap Manage Payments.
Add Tao payments, then add fees. You can add your UPI, Rs or Net Bank account details by following the same steps,
