Xiaomi is all set to launch India’s first Redmibook laptop on Tuesday. The electronics maker entered the laptop market last year with the introduction of laptops, making fun of new machines for the past few days. It also reveals the color variation of the new Redmibook, but most of the other details are kept on the cover. We expect Xiaomi to release at least two models of the new Redmibook on August 3rd.

This introduction will expand Redmi’s portfolio beyond smartphones and jewelry. Siomi is a valid brand for cheap products, while Mi products have more customers.

What do we know about the Redmibook?

Reports suggest that the Xiaomi Redmibook may be presented with a 15-inch screen size. It will be a full HD display with a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels. Xiaomi teased the design with a light bezel around the screen that helps to set up the webcam. It’s interesting to see, because last year Mi laptops dropped the feature and shipped with a USB webcam.

Upcoming Redmibook connectivity options include dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.0, USB 3.1 Type-C, USB Type-A, USB 2.0, HDMI, and audio jack. The device will have two 2W stereo speakers. The laptop will run Windows 10, but users will be able to upgrade to Windows 11 as soon as the new version is released.

Intel’s 11th Gen Core i3 and Core i5 Tiger processors are one of the cool features of the new Redmibook. It will be paired with 8GB of RAM and 512GB of SSD. Xiaomi confirmed in a social media post that the Redmibook has about 10 hours of battery life. It can be sent via a 65W charger.

Xiaomi confirmed that it will be available in an ad teaser on Flipkart. The laptop is also available through Mi.com.

How much will the new Redmibook cost?

We are not entirely sure about bringing the current laptop Xiaomi to India, but according to the recommended specifications, the price of the machine should not exceed Rs 50,000. Xiaomi has the opportunity to target students, first-time job seekers and regular laptop users with new products. Considering its history, the pricing is very serious and the price of the laptop is around Rs. Don’t be surprised if it’s 40,000.

Xiaomi also has the opportunity to place a second model at a more extreme price targeting students. However, we will know the official price of the Redmibook as soon as it is released on August 3rd.
